Blueberry Crisp

delicious brunch dessert

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened blueberries
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  1. Spread the blueberries in a 9 X 9 inch baking pan. Combine the brown sugar, flour and oats in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Stir in the butter.
  3. Spoon the crumb mixture over the blueberries.
  4. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve warm in a dessert bowls or goblets.
  6. TIP: I used a black east-iron skillet.
